100% of your hire cost goes to Tiyamike Mulungu Children’s home in Malawi.
This is payable by cash or cheque on collection of the china. Please make cheques payable to Tiyamike Mulungu Centre. If you are a UK tax payer and would like to gift aid your donation then a gift aid form will be available for you to complete on collection.
Breakages deposit: a refundable deposit to cover breakages is also required on collection. This deposit (payable in cash or cheque to Susanne Williams) is 50% of the total hire cost, and will be refunded minus breakages on return of the china. Missing or damaged china will be charged at replacement cost. In the unlikely event that breakages exceed the deposit, this excess will be payable on return of the china.
We are flexible on collection and return times; a typical length of hire is 3 days but this can be negotiated to suit your needs. We are based in the Heath area of Cardiff and will supply directions once a booking is confirmed. All the china will be packaged ready for your collection.
We endeavour to inspect all of our china to ensure that it is safe and suitable for your event before you collect. Upon receipt of the china, please check the items and notify us of any problems with your order at this point; if we do not hear from you on the day of collection we will assume that all items received are suitable and in good order.
The china will need to be returned washed, dried and repackaged. Due to the delicate nature of vintage china, it cannot be washed in a dishwasher. All china must be returned re-packaged as received in their original boxes. We would like to gently remind you that we are a non-profit social enterprise raising funds for charity, and as such would appreciate honesty in the reporting of any damages on the return of the china.
The goods remain the property of Vintagehope during the period of hire.
Prices are donations per item.
Please see terms and conditions for further details.

Based in Bangula, Malawi, Tiyamike is a special place offering hope and love to 120+ children who have no other place or avenue to turn to. It is run by Will and Pam Phillips a 'retired' (!) christian couple who founded Tiyamike in 2003. One of Tiyamike's unique points is that it is the only place in a 135km area that will accept babies and infants. Tiyamike runs an onsite school as well as providing for the children's needs in a loving environment. Tiyamike's role is invaluable to these children and all funds raised go towards caring for them from infancy through to adulthood.
